“Bad Things” (feat. Izzy Bizu) – Milky Chance Video

Milky Chance joined forces with Izzy Bizu to generate an alluringly bouncy track and a simple-yet-captivating video. Milky Chance’s Clemens Rehbein (lead vocals, guitar) and Philipp Dausch (drums, producer) met Critics Choice BRIT Award nominee Bizu at a festival and became friends. Now, “Bad Things” is born.

The video alternates between the Milky Chance duo nighttime walking/dancing along London streets and Bizu walking the same path during the day. For Bizu, the video begins and ends with taking a flower left on a mailbox near the Plumage House. During the video, she gives the flower to a couple, who have a later argument, discarding the flower just as the Milky Chance pair is walking by. So, it turns out that Dausch is the one who leaves the flower on the mailbox.

According to Clemens:
“The inspiration for ‘Bad Things’ came from a feeling of finding yourself repeatedly stuck in the same kind of situation. It’s a tiring, going-around-in-circles tragedy. In the end it’s always up to you to find the way out, but this song is a shout out to that person who is always there whilst you work it out.”
