”Found” by NYT FOXES – A Song Review

The New Wave wave has hit the "shores" of Budapest, Hungary. “Found” is a single from NYT FOXES, the solo project of Ben Lovas. The main portion of the song is a vocals-driven gem that leads to a strong finish. After the vocals fall away at the three-minute mark, sonic guitar playing is layered over a soothing synth, until the sound of safely-distant thunder brings the track to an end.

“Found” has its roots embedded in the 1980s, but branches into millennial influences, which are most apparent in the use of the guitar. “Found” will be included on the debut EP of NYT FOXES, which is due later this year.

Lyrics of ”Found” by NYT FOXES
I've looked around the place
To find you there on your own
I've searched the mountains
And the deepest lakes to find a speck of hope

Now this is you
And this is me
We should be here together now
Before the skies will go out dark on us

I've heard your voice
I've seen your signs
You lift my feet up
To the sky
And I'm around for when you'll
Call me back home
[Repeat]

I will find a way
And I will find a way
We need to shout
We need to run away
And learn to fall in love

I look into your eyes
And hope you'll see what I can't say
It seems impossible
To think that maybe you would turn away

So this is you
And this is me
Time is quickly fading out
Until the skies will go out dark on us

I've heard your voice
I've seen your signs
You lift my feet up
To the sky
And I'm around for when you'll
Call me back home
[Repeat]

Chorus:
I will find a way
I will find a way
We need to shout
We need to run away
And learn to fall in love
I'll find a way
And I will find a way
We need to shout
We need to run away
And learn to fall in love
