“Disappear” by Lilium – A Song Review

The debut single from Lilium is a force. “Disappear” remains strong even after the instrumental support turns modest (such as starting at 1:37). But it’s the controlled, melodic frenzy during the final minute that allows Lilium to flex its muscles. The vocals are a chant of All your troubles they get heavy, then they up and disappear,” while the percussion and guitars build a four-member wall of sound.

Lilium is Liverpool-based quartet that includes siblings. The members are Andrew Heselton (lead vocals, guitar), Emma Heselton (bass), Sam Dobbyn (drums), and Graeme Haywood (guitar, backing vocals).
