"We Kept The Lights On" by Milo Greene – A Song Review

The releases of Milo Greene continue to take advantage of their assembly of lead-ready vocalists (three of the four members). Their formula includes an emphasis on smooth, soothing melody. "We Kept The Lights On" uses somewhat hushed harmonization and consistently strong percussion to attract the attention of the listener. The song teases fans of Rock guitar by exhibiting the capability for charming those fans, but not taking full advantage of the capability. The band will be releasing an EP in 2017. Perhaps one of the other songs on the EP will feature the Rock guitar.

The members of Milo Greene are Robbie Arnett, Graham Fink, Marlana Sheetz, and Curtis Marrero.

Lyrics of "We Kept The Lights On"
We kept all of the lights on
To see our faces
You tried to keep your voice down
And settle the score

Are we or aren’t we
Are we, well you tell me
Maybe it's not my fault

You keep running, running
You keep running, running
You keep running back to me
[Repeat]

By now, you are shut down
You're not responding
The chance of this resolving
Is already gone

Finally you’re seeing
Finally you're catching on
Maybe I'm gone for good

You keep running, running
You keep running, running
You keep running back to me
[Repeat]

You keep running back to me
You keep running back to me
You keep running back to me
You keep running back to me
We kept all of the lights on
