“Don’t Shy from the Light” by Neulore – A Song Review

Songs that feature the cello should be accompanied by a box of tissue. There is no better instrument to convey emotion, particularly if there is an element of darkness to the emotion. "Don't Shy from the Light" from Neulore is a good example. The lyrics are included at the bottom of this post. The song is about a willingness to wait until the other person finds her way.
Neulore is primarily Adam Agin and William T. Cook. They are based in Nashville, Tennessee. We couldn’t find the names of the other contributors to “Don’t Shy from the Light.” So, we looked to the 2014 album on which the song is the sixth track. The credits for the album, “Animal Evolve,” list of album contributors as including:
Konrad Snyder (guitar, percussion, vocals)

Eleonore Denig violin, string arrangements)

Lyrics of “Don’t Shy from the Light”
Of course I'll wait
While you are hiding
Of course I'll wait
While you are deciding

But don't shy from the light
It'll never harm you
And don't shy from the light
It'll never harm you

Of course I'll stay
While you are denying
Of course I'll stay
While you wander blindly

But don't shy from the light
It'll never harm you
And don't shy from the light
It'll never harm you

But don't shy from the light
It'll never harm you
Don't shy from the light
It'll never harm you
