“Stranger in a Room” by Sara Hartman – A Song Review

     Indie Obsessive rarely posts covers, particularly if we are fans of the release that's being covered. Here’s an exception to the rule – Sara Hartman covering the Jamie xx song “Stranger in a Room.”

     Hartman grew up in Sag Harbor, New York, but the 20 year old has moved to Berlin, Germany. “Stranger in a Room” exhibits the strength and purity of her voice. Reverberation often masks vocal weaknesses, but the use of reverberation during the chorus of “Stranger in a Room” only further evidences the potential of Sara Hartman.
