Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats – A Concert Opportunity

     Nearly every region of the U.S. needs to stay prepared for some type of threatening event. In San Francisco, many of the attendees at the Outside Lands Festival experienced a 3.3 magnitude reminder that California has more than its share of fault lines. Florida has its regular encounters with hurricanes and many of the Great Plain States have their tornadoes. Well, the Denver, Colorado area just experienced an explosion generated by Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats. Denver was ahead of the curve in the appreciation of the band, so the explosion occurred in Colorado, but its power was more apparent elsewhere. 

     The band is touring and sellouts are a regularity. One stop on the tour is The Chapel in San Francisco on September 9. A more complete schedule is at the bottom of this post.

     Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats are a combination of Folk, Soul and Gospel. The members are Nathaniel Rateliff, Joseph Pope III, Patrick Meese, Mark Shusterman, Luke Mossman, Andy Wild and Wesley Watkins. A self-title album is scheduled to drop on August 21, so their Noisetrade offer of the hit S.O.B. is likely to end soon. Move quickly.
