“Home” by Blackout Problems – A Song Review

One of the many quirks of Indie Obsessive is the draw to certain song titles. Perhaps the oddest of these draws is the attraction to songs titles that are merely a year in the 20th Century, such as “1979” by Smashing Pumpkins and “1901” by Phoenix. Only slightly less odd are the attractions to the one-word titles “Home” and “Brother.”
But while the pull to certain titles exists, the obsessive behavior is not so great that we write about songs that aren't blogworthy. With that said, we welcome the band Blackout Problems and their song “Home.” The band is based in Munich, Germany, a fact that is not apparent from listening to “Home.”
The members of Blackout Problems are Marcus Schwarzback (bass and vocals),  Mario Radetzky (guitar and vocals) and Michael Dreilich (drums). The band will release an EP tomorrow – November 14, 2014.
