“Hindsight” by The Occupants – A Song Review

The Occupants are three musicians in Bondi Beach, Australia. Sadly, they haven’t gained much traction in the United States. Indie fans in Australia are aware of the skills of The Occupants, but there hasn’t been an “explosion” on that continent either. So, the question is, “How do these guys have the money, time and energy to generate the music with the richness of the song 'Hindsight?'” The song begins quietly enough, but then the complexity begins at the 1:23 mark of the song. That transition can be seen in the Soundcloud waveform embedded below.
When we first introduced The Occupants to Indie Obsessive, the band was comprised of the Gower brothers – Flynn and Luke. Since that introduction, the band’s Facebook page has added the name Leigh Davies.
